This photographic book is the first of a series published by ASProS and GASAU caving clubs in Sardinia, regarding the wonders of caves and karst in and around Supramonte (Central East Sardinia). Since the explorations of the last decades, the area around Flumineddu-Gorropu canyon has delivered the discovery of the deepest cave systems of Sardinia. The book illustrates the most important of these wonderful water-caves with short and captivating captions in two languages (English and Italian) from the surrounding natural landscape to the depths of the Earth.

Dieses Fotobuch ist das erste aus der Serie von ASProS and GASAU und zeigt die faszinierenden Höhlen und Karst in und um Supramonte (dem Gebirge im zentralen Osten von Sardinien). In den letzten Jahrzenten hat die Höhlenforschung in dem Gebiet um den Flumineddu-Gorropu Canyon zu der Erforschung des tiefsten Höhlensystems Sardiniens geführt. Das Buch illustriert mit fantastischen Bildern die wichtigsten dieser wunderschönen Wasserhöhlen. Kurze Texte auf englisch und italienisch zu den Bildern informieren angefangen von der umgebenden Landschaft bis hin zu den unterirdischen Tiefen.
